The LGBT Centre Mongolia is delighted to invite you to save the date for the inaugural
A multi-disciplinary health and human rights conference focusing on human rights as positive social determinants of health for LGBTI people and other minority populations in the Asia Pacific Region, with a particular focus on intersecting marginalization such as sexuality and disability. This conference will form part of the conversation on how lower and middle-income countries in the Western Pacific region can begin to address the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals’ theme of “leave no-one-behind”.

The conference is supported by a Direct Aid Grant from the Australian Embassy in Mongolia and registration is free for Mongolian health practitioners and interested local community.
A limited number of travel and accommodation scholarships will be available by application to Mongolian healthcare professionals residing and working outside Ulaanbaatar.
Accreditation for professional development credits is being sought from the Health Development Centre.
A call for abstracts, registration and scholarship information will be released shortly.
This conference will be of interest to health practitioners and students, health policy developers, researchers, educators, LGBTIQ, human rights and health NGOs, and other individuals working in the field of health equity, civil society and community development related to improving the health of minority populations through a human rights lens.
